PSG coach Luis Enrique said Paris had "fulfilled" its "objectives" on Wednesday by playing at a "good level" and "resting" some players while giving playing time to others against Stade Briochin in the Coupe de France (7-0) . "Today, we played at a very good level, we would have had problems if that had not been the case, we gave playing time to some players and rested others, we fulfilled our objectives," he explained at a press conference.

In the heart of an intense month of February, "we managed this load of playing time" , now "we have to arrive with the adequate playing time" against Liverpool next Wednesday in the Champions League . "The pace that is imposed wears you down: in the second half, it was very hard for them" , he added. Asked about Warren Zaire-Emery, who came on 25 minutes after his sprain on January 29, he hopes he will be 100% next week: "It will be difficult" , he said.

For the coach and president of Stade Briochin, Guillaume Allanou, PSG "respected" his team by "putting them 7-0. They defended their goal like the starving at the end of the match, they didn't want to let us have one, it's a proof of respect" . According to him, "they are sending a strong message to France, to Europe" .
